But if you really want to split it, go to one of the islands, and then spend the last day or 2 in Isla Verde, which has the best beach in San Juan.While in San Juan, you can visit Old San Juan. WebbWe just got back and thought the beaches and bio bay in Vieques were totally worth the trip. We stayed there for three nights. It was amazing. But, I don’t recommend the vrbo we stayed at so I have no recommendation there. We flew in and ferry’d back. Both were fine. The water was a bit rough but so were the skies with a rainstorm.
